Life Insurance All employees qualify for a Covenant-funded employee death benefit equal to one month's salary. Full-time staff receive what is equal to one year's salary to a maximum of $50,000 at no charge.
Health & Dental Insurance
Health insurance through Blue Cross & Blue Shield Blue Options Plan, Alabama Blue Cross Blue Shield, or Capital Health Plan HMO (Tallahassee area only) and Guardian dental insurance are available to full-time employees.
Paid Time Off
PTO is provided at the rate of .096 hours per hour worked to full and part-time employees for vacation, holiday, sick, and bereavement leave. Full-time employees accrue what equates to 25 days for the first year of employment.
Hospice-Funded Short Term Disability Programs
Short Term Disability pay is accrued by full-time employees at the rate of 1 eight-hour day per month.
Retirement, Disability Insurance & Other Cafeteria Plan Benefits All employees may participate in the retirement plan by making pre-tax salary deferrals into a tax sheltered annuity managed by The Travelers. Employees who meet the employer contribution eligibility requirements will receive an employer contribution equal to 50% of each dollar that they contribute, up to 4% of pay.

Full-time employees may enroll in Healthcare and/or a Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts.
