Covenant Hospice employees accepted into the LeaP Program 

Pensacola- Covenant Hospice Community Educator, Andre Hall and Chief Operating Officer, Susan Lovelady were accepted into the Leadership Pensacola program, a program of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. Participants accepted into the LeaP program are involved in a balanced combination of retreats, day long seminars and community projects. Andre Hall and Susan Lovelady were chosen for the LeaP program due to their strong leadership skills and desire to be actively involved in the community.

The LeaP program focuses on issues currently facing Northwest Florida and looks for potential solutions for challenges that may arise in the future.  Applicants are confidentially reviewed by a Selection Committee comprised of community leaders. Fifty class members are chosen for each class and the selection process is competitive. Applicants for the program are for people living and working in the Pensacola Bay Area.

Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate services to patients and loved ones during times of life-limiting illnesses. The focus of Covenant Hospice is to enable its patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible, to provide dignified palliative care, to assist patients’ loved ones in coping with end-of-life issues and the eventual death of the patient, and to improve care for all patients at the end of their lives by example and education.
