Pensacola, FL - The 36th Annual Cox Communications Cablethon will take place from 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 18 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19 on Cox Channel 2. Once again, Covenant Hospice will be the beneficiary of this exciting event, which includes 24-hours of live auctions, local talent, education, and fun.

A great selection of golf packages, vacation getaways, restaurant certificates, fine art, unique gifts, and more will be up for bid during the Cablethon.  This year’s Cablethon will also be broadcast live on-line at www.covenanthospice.org.  Proceeds will benefit Covenant Hospice by helping to fund various programs that are greatly needed in the community such as children's services, bereavement programs, and chaplain services.

Celebrating 25 years of keeping the promise, Covenant Hospice is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate services to patients and loved ones during times of life-limiting illnesses.  The focus of Covenant Hospice is to enable its patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible, to provide dignified palliative care, to assist patients’ loved ones in coping with end-of-life issues and the eventual death of the patient, and to improve care for all patients at the end of their lives by example and education.
