What is Covenant Hospice?
In 1980, a committee of representatives from Pensacola, Florida area hospitals was appointed to develop a community-based hospice program. Through their efforts to provide care for persons with life-limiting illnesses, this committee’s hospice program led to the creation of our organization, Hospice of Northwest Florida and later changed to Covenant Hospice. As Covenant Hospice continues putting life into days when days can no longer be added to life, we are positively affecting thousands of lives each year. We proudly provide our services openheartedly without regard to age, race, gender or religion. When families need end-of-life care, Covenant Hospice provides services regardless of their ability to pay.
