The Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence is a beautiful well-equipped facility with 16 private rooms in a tranquil, wooded setting.  It offers a full continuum of specialized, individualized care, 24-hours a day.  Visiting hours are unlimited and family, friends, loved ones, children, and pets are welcome. 

The atmosphere is homelike and cozy, with a large back porch with rocking chairs and gardens, and a large comfortable living area equipped with a television and DVD player.  The facility offers home-cooled meals, created by a chef catering to each patient's tastes, and a small refrigerator in each room for convenience.

Some rooms have French doors that open onto the porch with convenient access to the outdoors.  Wireless internet access is available throughout the Residence to keep in touch with family and friends.  There are also scheduled pet therapy days and weekly patient massages by a licensed massage therapist. 

We provide our unique concept of care by offering the following:
  • Licensed and certified hospice-trained physicians and nurses who are experts in pain and symptom management
  • Licensed social workers and chaplains trained in patient and family emotional and spiritual needs
  • A full continuum of specialized, individualized care 24-hours-a-day
  • A well-equipped, private 16-bed facility in a park-like setting where meaningful personal possessions can be brought in from home
  • A home-like atmosphere with unlimited visiting hours where family, children, and pets are welcome
  • Joint Commission accreditation, Medicare and Medicaid Certification
  • Admission based on need, regardless of ability to pay
